Michał Olech, a photographer living by the Baltic Sea, uses his camera to capture different moods of the sea, calm or anger.
Since lived in Gdańsk (a city on the Baltic shore), Olech started to photograph the sea. In different seasons, Baltic Sea shows different faces. It can be calm like a lake or angry like an ocean. When winter comes, it also can be frozen by the shores. There’s a lot of wild places on the Baltic shores compared with many other seas and oceans worldwide.
As Olech mentioned, he used to take photos around dawns and dusks due to its soft and warm sunlight. But finding a time when there are not many people around is also important to him. So he can present us with some pure nature wonder.
Below are some of Olech’s amazing ocean photography. You can find more on Olech’s website or Facebook page.
