Keren Rosen is a freelance illustrator and designer based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Keren’s artistic style is distinguished by bright colors and cute and humorous human-like or anthropomorphic characters.
Keren has many creative works while her “Literal Idioms” collection is one of my favorite. It is always fun to imagine idioms and phrases literally. Everyone of us pictures them differently but the artist Keren Rosen decided to put her thoughts on the paper. Her simple, cartoonish images break down the meaning of each word and illustrate their individual definitions. You can see how Keren is picturing some of the classic idioms like “Jam session”, “killing time” or “mind blowing”.
