Dinocat is internet slang term used to define a Windows 10 emoji. It’s the mix of a dinosaur and a cat. Presentably it’s just a hybrid animal. Not sure why, but some of cat owners get inspired by this imaginative emoji and decided to style their cat as “dinocat”.
How? Grooming!
The Dino trim is a popular request to add a bit of style to a traditional Lion Cut where a cat is shaved on its back, tummy and neck while leaving long hair on its legs, face and tail. With the Dino Cut, a strip of hair is retained along the cat’s back which is then styled, along with the tail, into dragon-like spikes. It can be a fun design with a lot of variations to play with.
Personally, I am not a big fan to groom my cat like a dino. But it is a upcoming trend among cat owners. It’s even gaining some traction among viral Instagram trends under #DinoCut hashtag. What’s your take on this?
