Li Xiaofeng is a Chinese artist who makes sculptural clothing from broken porcelain. Basically, he makes the clothing from porcelain shards coming from the song, Ming, yuan and Qing dynasties, which are sewn together on a leather undergarment. some of his projects include a suit jacket and tie as well as a number of mid-length women’s dresses.
The results are lovely and apparently wearable. And surprisingly, those clothing is actually wearable. At first I thought it is only sculpture, but look at those models wearing them, which is quite nice. But I am also sure, I don’t want to try and sit down in it. lol
So great. but i think i can wear this cloth :D
can you sit in the glass dress or is that just fabric with gass cup like details?
