Erik Johannson is a self-taught photographer who learned how to retouch photos to make impossible and extraordinary images. Echoing the mathematical preciseness of M.C. Escher and the jocularity of Salvador DalÃ, Erik creates realistic photos of impossible scenes where up is often down and perspectives are always misleading. For Erik, photography is just a way to collect material to realize the ideas in his mind. Just like he said “I don’t capture moments, I capture ideas.” [source]
