First I have to say, this type of design isn’t really my style. With untouched the concrete ceiling and the brick walls, external wiring, kitchen hidden in closet style and even a open fireplace make me kind of worrying how good this type of design to a young family with a 9 year old boy. Even I don’t really like it, I have to admit it is kind of unique style.
Designed by Zooi Studio, the loft interior is organized by a minimal scheme and built with concrete, composed by wall paintings and an external wiring. To create a comfortable and spacious area, the interior designers of Zooi combined the living room and kitchen in the open space. But they also add a wooden shield to cover the kitchen and make all kitchen utensils not in sight. Light is guaranteed by large windows and several suspended lamps for the evening. Almost all the furniture has been made on order, in Ukraine, under the control of Zooi studio engineers. The bedroom interior space is functional and minimal. The wall opposite the bed includes a TV and a teak for turtles. Next to the window a little area comprises an armchair together with a plant coming to create a relaxation area to read a good book or to rest.
