Located in Medellín, Colombia, the 9¾ Bookstore and Café is probably the most comfy and playful bookstore you’ve ever seen. It is not only a place where people come to read, but also where they can socialize and enjoy coffee. Its nearly 1,300 square feet spreads over two floors. The ceiling high castle libraries will give any first vistor a feeling of awe. This place is also quite children friendly, which features details such as chairs upholstered in textile maps and hexagonal nooks where children can draw, play, read or rest. There are so many other interesting designs such as the sofas on ground floor which line a wall covered in green leaves, inviting you to sit in a surreal, nature-meets-design environment. Hope there is a similar bookstore near my home.
