Phonics songs such as “A is for Apple, B is for Ball” are taught when we start to learn alphabet. London-based illustrator Marcus Reed use the same idea but different approach to create adorable illustrations of animals for each letter. Drawing upon the animals’ natural shapes, colors, and behavior, he seamlessly blended different features together to form each character. The alphabet features animals that take the form of the first letter of their names. For example: M Is For Meerkat, P is for Penguin, E is for Elephant, and so on. This creative set servers perfectly as the foundation for the educational purpose – information is visually communicated in a memorable way that is easy to children to learn. Such an inventive interpretation of classic typography, beautiful and meaningful!
