For me, banana is just a kind of food. But for someone, it can be a unusual canvas for painting. We have featured many creative banana skin art, artists either cut, bruise or carve banana to create unqiue banana art.
Anna Chojnicka just joined them due to the boredom caused by COVID-19’s lockdown. To pass the time and keep her creative juices flowing, social entrepreneur Anna Chojnicka started experimenting with banana peel oxidation as an art medium. Instead of doodling on canvas or paper, she decided to simply bruise bananas with thin, blunt objects and let oxidation do the rest. The bruised peel becomes darker as the hours go by, revealing the design etched into it.
Do you like these special banana painting? And I really hope Chojnicka did eat these bruised banana instead of throwing them away.
