In this blog, I will present some adorable cakes “Food Artist” Isessaki from Japan. Most of her cakes are inspired by cartoon movie. Those cakes just look awesome and I don’t want to eat them.
Finding Nemo Cake
A cake featuring character from the movie “Finding Nemo”. Everything made with gumpaste.
Anpanman Cake
A cake based on Anpanman’s cartoon. Everything was made with gumpaste.
Totoro Cake
A cake based on Studio Ghibli’s My Neighbor Totoro (Tonari no Totoro).
Cars Cake
A cake and cupcakes for a Hello Kitty themed party. All the decoration was made with gumpaste, the Hello Kitty figurine included.
Baby Pooh Cake
A cake featuring gumpaste figures of Pooh and his friends Tiger, Eyore and Piglet, in their baby versions. The tree house was made of sculpted rice crispies and covered with fondant like the cake, in other the cake be all edible.
Winnie the Pooh
The cake was covered with chocolate truffle icing. The topper was all made with Gumpaste.
Miss Bunny cake topper

Stitch and Angel Cake Topper
A cake topper featuring Stitch and Angel.Everything was made with gumpaste.
Dragonball Cake
Another cake based on the japanese cartoon Dragonball, the boy desired to have Son Goku and Vegeta (his favourite characters) on the top. Everything made with gumpaste.

Did you made them? Because I have a curiosity, I was wondering if, for reproduction of pre-existing characters normally covered by copyright, you need to pay the copyrights or if for food reproduction it doesn’t matters. It would be really useful for me to know!
