Not sure since when, banana becomes a welcoming canvas for artist. Instead of using pen, they work with pins and create illustration on the outside peel. Honey, the graphic artist and illustrator uses a safety pin and makes small punctures in the skin. As the punctured banana peel turns brown, the organized patterns of dots reveal various and incredibly detailed designs, such as portraits of The Blues Brothers and Jim Morrison. It usually took her 20 minutes to 2 hours to create one. When she’s done, Honey takes a photograph and then eats her art as a snack! Check more banana art on our site.
