Spain-based photographer and art director Maria Laura Benavente a.k.a “mililitros”, is a Fine Arts graduate who specialises in paper craft and photography. Maria finds creative solutions to produce stunning, intricate works of art out of paper. Her art takes on myriad forms from still life to sculptural pieces, all of which exude an effortless coolness that is hard to replicate with any other medium.
Here, we will feature her stunning food papercraft work of her awesome collection. It is quite obvious these are not real food instead of paper. But the amount of detail in the sculptures is really incredible, but not so realistic that it takes away from the playfulness of the art. It is sort of like a less abstract type of origami, and blends together paper folding and sculpting techniques. And not sure why seeing these paper food actually cause me to start craving for them. I will guess the vivid color.
