This interesting protrait set is called “Circlism“, created by Ben Heine, the artist known for his humorous series “Pencil vs. Camera”. Ben made these celebrities portraits by painstakingly building their faces by placing circles one by one. Using the new technique what mixes the Pointillism with Pop Art, the Brussels-based artist need spend between 100 and 180 hours for a single portrait. It’s a new technique, evolving all the time. Each circle has a different color, a different size and a different tone. The results include portraits of Marilyn Monroe, Freddie Mercury and Lady GaGa.
