Reddymade has transformed a 1960s two-bedroom pied-à-terre in Greenwich Village into an elegant, art-filled retreat for a Los Angeles couple. The redesign balances the husband’s preference for clean, modern lines with the wife’s love for warm textures, using a neutral palette and rich oak floors to create a harmonious atmosphere.

Custom details, like a sculptural bar crafted from a structural column with bronze storage cubes, enhance functionality while maximizing space. The open layout seamlessly connects the living, kitchen, and dining areas, creating a light-filled, welcoming home perfect for both relaxation and entertaining.

This pied-à-terre doubles as a personal art gallery, showcasing works by Wolfgang Tillmans, Charles Gaines, and others. Thoughtful lighting and spacious design allow each piece to shine, turning the apartment into a vibrant reflection of the owners’ passion for art.

Sustainability was a key focus, with eco-friendly materials and adaptable design elements ensuring both style and practicality.

Reddymade’s redesign elevates this Greenwich Village apartment into a luxurious and personal sanctuary, blending art, functionality, and timeless elegance.
