Hiromi Sato is a traditional Japanese craft artist. Influenced by her parents a traditional artisan and painting artist since child, Sato obtained traditional Japanese craft qualification and designed a series of beautiful starry sake cups. When filled with a clear liquid, a tiny galaxy appears inside the cup. Each stainless steel tumbler is unique, and are made by painting and repainting with lacquer, before being finished with gold dust. It is the gold that gives the shimmering, star-like quality to the cups.
