Jun Yamamoto is a Tokyo based Photographer who was born in Tokyo, Japan. After graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Arts Senior High School, he worked in Sony Music Entertainment. On 2008, He launched his own studio which called “OLJATO STUDIO” The word meant “moon in the water” and started to work as a photographer.
Yamamoto focuses mainly on urban and street photography. And in his recent work, Yamamoto captures the essence of Japan’s mega-cities at nighttime and presents a magic world of Japan Streets At Night. While look at his work, I found he was really good at making use of reflection in his photos, which is probably while he chose “OLJATO” as his studio’s name.
