This beautiful large Victorian-era family home was renovated with the help of Techne Architecture + Interior Design who successfully create a timeless aesthetic that integrates contemporary elements and original details.
Tranquility and warmth were key concepts and the clients need a calm, light-filled space for this home. By demolishing the existing addition and creating a new pavilion structure with a dramatic roof form, Techne Architecture + Interior Design creates a strong connection to the outdoors & maximizes natural light.
The overall design took inspiration from garden houses and conservatories to create tranquil spaces with an abundance of views of the home’s well-established garden.
