We love everything about optical illusion, no matter it is about painting or handcarft. We just enjoy the moment when have our brain twisted when look at those incredible art work. Someone play tricks by blend the boundary of 2D and 3D worlds while someone like Canadian artist Robert Gonsalves, who chooses to mix the real and the imaginative, painting a space where one can explore beyond physical limits. Inspired by MC Escher and Magritte, Robert explores childlike stories of wonder, capturing peeks of one’s internal daydreams through dual scene optical illusions. The final result is striking, one moment you think you see some people row the boat in the river but the another moment, you find them actually at the tree top. Take a look at what we have below and you can view more of Gonsalves paintings on Robert’s facebook.
