To force diners to focus on their food instead of their electronic devices, napkin table is invented. It is a small platform that attaches to a person’s neck at either end, like an adult bib built for two. Even there are some holes on the table to hold drinks, to not have a plate of meal fall in one’s lap, the Napkin Table requires both wearers to keep plates level and attention straight ahead. Of course, the napkin table will never be a replacment to traiditional table, but the designer do hope it will inspire a new dialogue around proper eating culture. Do you think that will work?
