Not everyone has green thumb. But does that mean plant killers don’t deserve some green, fresh houseplants at home? Of course not! There are many artificial options we can buy. However, there is a even better option – make your own houseplants with paper!
Expert crafter Corrie Beth has published a book which includes step-by-step instructions and templates for making 30 of the most popular houseplants, from monstera and peperomia to fiddle leaf fig and philodendron. And there are also some additional projects show how to use paper plants for home décor, wall art, holiday decorations, gift giving, and more. The projects are simple enough to be made in few hours and the materials are affordable and easy to find.
Now, even you don’t have green thumb but if you have the crafty hand, you still can have your very own crafty indoor garden that never dies. And don’t like those plastic ones, they might stuck in your home forever if you don’t want to throw them away. If you are bored with your paper plant, you can just simply recycle the paper and make another one.
Below are some of Corrie’s amazing work. You can find more on her Instagram page. If you want to try it yourself, you can purchase the book from amazon and make your own paper plant. You know, that actually will be a great gift! Thoughtful and useful!
