PencilHeads: Amazing Sculptures on Pencil Tip

You might still remember the Incredible Miniscule Pencil Tip Carvings by Dalton Ghetti we featured year ago, while today, there is another set of Amazing Sculptures on Pencil Tip created by German artist Ragna ReuschKlinkenberg. This project is driven by the campaign for Cicero, the most well known magazine for politics in Germany, a magazine dedicated to bringing politics directly from the source. Hence those carved faces belong to several world’s most important politicians like Obama, Merkel and Sarkozy.

The idea was to be different and by that they reached out for politicians by having these sculptures sculpted using a real pencil and later sending them to the politicians. This idea is both artistic and serves an effective meaning. The magazine’s source is a pencil, an object we all know that is pretty much the start of anything.

I am not sure whether the campaign successfully or not… but the sculpture itself is really impressive.
