Designed by a local studio “house design”, this playful industrial feeling home breaks the rules of traditional taiwanese apartment and successfully integrates the dwelling’s various spaces. Instead of using a dinning chair, a massive island is employed to let homeowner prepare food and have meal. Sitting atop a bright yellow base and surrounding by a collection of different types of industrial chairs, the grey island easily becomes a focal point of the room. There is a office/study area behind the folding wood doors close to the glass cabinet, to give user some separation if they want. Cool plumbing pipes systems are used to divide the space and holding stuff. Things like clock, plant, mirror and TV are smartly installed around the pipes. There is even a padded seat placed on the pipes so you can sit on to take off shoes. The large glass cabinet in the hallway is used to hold and display owner’s collectibles and it also lets light pass through to the hall. There are also a lot to mention in the apartment, such as vertical wooden slats in bedroom, chalkboard wall at the hallway and wood-like titles in bathroom. Take a look at the photos below and tell us how do you like it?
