Sometimes, I just thought we might think too much about cats. Compared with dog, cat has so many customized furniture, toys and playgrounds. I can’t even remember how many times I wrote an article about these fancy, expensive cat stuff and wonder why someone will spend that much money on such thing.
But sometimes, I have to agree these designers do put a lot of thoughts on these things and those custom built furniture are really cat-oriented. However, I am not quite sure how much the cat enjoys it as well as their owners.
Like the cat bed (by Catlife) shown here, is a special bed with a special base which servers as a safe play or sleep area for the furry creatures. According to the designing company, “With our bed, our cat clients don’t feel invaded in their territory, nor do they have to run looking for a safe space to hide. Under this bed, they find a quiet place, full of calm and security, and best of all, it still has the same functionality for the owner! You will continue to rest as you normally would, but now, you provide a unique den to your cat.”
Although it sounds pretty good, I strongly doubt how well I can sleep when my cat is running, playing under my bed. But who knows, maybe it is pretty good. The bed itself comes with a mattress, two bedside tables. And, its price ranges from $550 to $680, so honestly, it isn’t that expensive and actually it is pretty reasonable for me after all these ridiculous expensive cat furniture I have seen. But are you ready to share your bed with your kitten?
