I can’t remember how many times I am deeply impressed by the stunning paper art. Every time, when I think I have seen enough and won’t be easily impressed, there are some new incredible works shown in front of me. Look at the Illustrator and paper artist Tina Kraus’ super realistic paper sculptures. If no one tells you, you might think you are looking at some close-up photos. But they are actually paper sculptures made out of textured crepe paper and colored with pastel chalk and paint.
Kraus first began using the materials about two years ago, starting with common flowers and moving on to more nontraditional plants such as the Venus flytrap. Most recently she has has created a gecko and several different types of insects. You can see more of her work on Instagram and Behance.
