Created by Dachi Papuashvili, Skit is a new micro home project designated for one person usage. In Papuashvili’s mind, Skit is best used for churchmen and laymen for long term living or serve for short-term isolation needs. Having an unusual cross shape, Skit is an energetically independent building, producing any needed energy on solar power, and accumulating rain water. Ideally, it does not need any energy sources and communications.
Skit has four floors: the first floor is used for solar energy batteries, rain water reservoirs and a warehouse for food and other staff. Second floor is bathroom area. Third floor is the main functional area of the building, which contains kitchen, dinning area, bedroom and living/studying area. On the top floor, there are a small pray room and a baloncy area.
