Located in the resurgent suburb of Maribyrnong, close to inner Melbourne, Skyline Drive House as a composed elegance that challenges many conventions in Australian domestic architecture. Two material palette, concrete and glass, are chosen for their qualities of beatification with time, sustainability, simplicity of build and integration into the building’s existing environment.
The layout of this three storey dwelling embraces is a bit different from the usual house. Its bedrooms and service spaces on the lower floors while the kitchen, living and dining area has been raised to the higher floor under the retractable glass roof with panoramic views and a glass fronted rooftop pool. I have to say, that pool is spectacular! Never see anything like that before…!
