“Broken Diamond House” was born from the fragmentation of a pure form until reaching a formal module. Jorge Luis Veliz Quintana has been the principal architect for this house incorporating large glass facades and radical shapes.
The vast interior spaces are connected by double and triple struts while the glass facades are opened by angular-shaped windows. There are angular shapes everywhere that represent a diamond but notably, the two concrete and wood breakwaters seamlessly integrate themselves into the water.
The place looks absolutely beautiful and it must be like heaven to live there. Too bad that is just an conceptual project.
