This isn’t a scene from “Walking Dead”, it is actually one of the biggest car graveyard in the world which is right in the middle of a small forest near Chatillon. It was said, these cars once belonged to US soldiers who were stationed in this region. When the World War II ended, all military troops were sent back to the US, but the cost of having all those cars shipped was way too expensive. So the ranking officers decided to leave all the cars in Belgium. The cars were driven up a hill, one by one, nicely parked and somehow hidden from the outside world.
At one time, there were were four car graveyards in Chatillon with as many as 500 retro vehicles. However, due to many reasons, the whole graveyards was cleared in 2010.
