Inborn love for nature and affinity for art is a brief yet substantial description about Bennett Ewing, better known as “Eyevan Tumbleweed“. Eyevan Tumbleweed has been sculpting with found wood then assembling mostly faces from thousands of hand-picked pieces. The sculptures are comprised of non-carved, naturally colored wood that Tumbleweed collect himself in almost 40 U.S. states, Canada, Mexico, and Ireland.
The artist has been experimenting with this found wood since 2002 and now resides in Northern California where he continually searches for materials and works on his various projects. His technique ranges from smooth and spiraling to rough and irregular, combining fantasy with reality and impressionism with complex design.
Below are some of artist’s amazing driftwood faces, and you can found more on his Instagram page. And trust me, although these wont be the pretties faces, they are definitely one of the most impressive faces you’ve even seen.
