Located in Minsk, Apartment Ann proves that small spaces can be both stylish and functional. Designed by France-based architect Natasha Kukresh, this 533-square-foot studio maximizes every inch while keeping things chic and comfortable.

To optimize space, a kitchen peninsula replaces a dining table, serving as both a prep and dining area. With no need for a workspace, the layout stays open and uncluttered. A sliding glass partition subtly separates the bedroom while maintaining an airy feel. The bathroom and a spacious walk-in closet—designed for a fashion-forward client—offer practical storage without sacrificing style.

A mix of textures and bold colors adds personality, balanced by a clean layout that prevents visual clutter. The apartment’s non-orthogonal structure was refined to maximize usability without losing character. Lighting was key, with a warm yellow-toned ceiling and strategic artificial lighting ensuring a cozy atmosphere day and night.

The kitchen blends modern and classic touches, featuring fluted copper tiles, a marble backsplash, and smoky gray cabinets that tie the space together.

Apartment Ann showcases how thoughtful design makes small-scale living both luxurious and practical. Kukresh’s approach keeps things personal, stylish, and effortlessly functional—proving that great design has no size limits.
