If you are asked to improve the design of toothpaste tube, most of you might have the same idea like me – tube is tube, what else can you make a tube better? However, the students (Sungmin Hong, Yubin Choi, Yun Kim, Mi Jang and Seokgyu Hwang ) from Dankook University don’t think that way. They smartly give a hole to the toothpaste tube at the end to help to squeeze out the last bit of paste. Look at this inventive design, the hole at the end of the tube is meant to be used as a spinner. Simply put your finger in and give the tube a good spin, centrifugal force will push the toothpaste towards the tube top and make for an easy squeeze. It is a quite interesting design and will definitely add some fun to the tooth brushing time. However, thinking about the toothpaste you can save from the design and the extra money you need to pay for the new design, it might not really worth it. But I should still say it is a quite clever idea.
