California-based artist Andrew Myers is best known for his “screw art”. To create those unique work, he uses from 8,000 – 10,000 screws drilled into boards then hand paint them. Myers doesn’t rely on any computer software to guide him. Instead, he drills in screws at different depths all by instinct to create his magnificent 3-D portraits. Despite the unusual mediums, the completed images are surprisingly soulful. You can see more of his work by visiting his site.
