We try many ways to protect our mother nature. And VEGHEET from Good Good Mart, a Japanese startup focused on environmentally friendly and nutritious products, is invented behind the idea of reducing food waste.
VEGHEET is a series of 100% plant-based vegetable sheets made from edible “imperfect” vegetables that would usually go to waste. In an effort to curb food waste and support struggling farmers, they’ve transformed them into additive free flavorful veggie sheets made using only vegetables and agar.
Currently, VEGHEET is available in four different types: carrots, pumpkins, tomatoes, and radishes. With the condensation, One sheet of Vegheet contains more nutrition than 100g of its original.
Moreover, the 0.1mm thick eatable dried vegetable sheet is easy to use. You can use it to make rolls, wraps, or melt it in juice to make dessert. Of course, you can also eat this crisp sheet as a healthy snack.
You can buy the vegetable sheets from amazon. However, it is currently out of stock. Otherwise, I would love to give it a try.
