Embroidered Landscapes are quite common in the art store. To stand out from these embroidered work, Russian artist Vera Shimunia brought her craft to the next level through the addition of puffy three-dimensional clouds on her incredible embroidered landscapes.
Each textile scene is rendered using a variety of stitches – meadows, mountain-scapes, and ocean views are beautifully hand-stitched and framed inside embroidery hoops. However, that is not all! Pink sunsets, sun beams, and swirling stormy skies are depicted with a myriad of multicolored stitches and cotton candy-like balls of wool. All the sudden, Shimunia’s work comes to live. Do you like these puffy landscape work? Personally, I like her previous one more. But anyway, you can follow her on Instagram or purchase some of art work from Etsy.
